Spondylus Lodge - Ayampe

The value for my money at Spondylus Lodge was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and close to supermarkets. The staff, especially Mariscal and Maria José, were friendly and cute.

Breakfast offerings could have been better, perhaps more variety would be nice.

The location of the lodge is convenient, being within walking distance of the beach and nearby amenities like supermarkets and restaurants. the communal spaces are clean and welcoming, with comfortable lounging furniture. Guests can enjoy a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle.

The cleanliness of the apartments may be lacking at times, as some guests reported a lack of daily cleaning.

The accommodations were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. the rooms had a table and chairs inside, as well as a small dressing and storage area. the balcony with a hammock was a nice touch, and there were plenty of communal areas for relaxing. the location was great, with easy access to the beach, shop, and cafe/yoga/surf school. the bathroom and shower were roomy and well-maintained.

The lack of presence from the owners was a major downside. It made it difficult to address any concerns or resolve issues during the stay.

I had such a relaxing stay at the lodge! The beautiful garden filled with hummingbirds was a real highlight for me. The manager, Mari, was incredibly friendly and gave me great local advice. Waking up to the sound of birds was truly magical. I highly recommend this hotel. The only minor drawback was the poor wifi connection, but it didn't take away from my enjoyable experience. My stay at Spondylus Lodge was exceptional!

The cleanliness was great and the staff were great too make us feel welcome. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and supermarkets. I had a great time during my xmas stay at this beachside oasis. the location was perfect, right on the beach with excellent surfing just steps away. the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals, and the helpful staff provided us with surf boards and valuable advice. the comfortable hammocks and lounging areas added to the overall relaxing atmosphere.

Some of the kitchen facilities could have been better. the pans were in bad shape, which made cooking a bit of a pain.

spondylus lodge exceeded my expectations during a relaxing holiday in ayampe. comfy beds & hammocks, clean rooms & kitchen, friendly manager & amazing sunsets made for a perfect stay.

The Spondylus Lodge in Ayampe was a hidden gem. The rooms werevery comfy and tidy, with nice bathrooms and AC. The kitchen facilities were excellent, with both indoor and outdoor options. The entire place was well-maintained and tidy. The terrace and garden provided a peaceful oasis to relax and unwind. The staff were pretty good, offering helpful recommendations and assistance. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and everything within a short walking distance. it was a fantastic place to stay.
